This is a research project conducted at School of Communication Sciences and Disorders, McGill University. We are looking at how adults learn a foreign consonant and looking for participants who:- Age 18-40 years- Native speaker of English- NOT a speaker/learner of Japanese/Italian/Arabic/Urdu- With normal hearing- Can complete 3 sessions (approx. 30 minutes, 40 minutes, 30 minutes) according to the following schedule:                         - Session 2 must take place on the next day of Session 1                         - Session 3 must take place one week after Session 2ex. If you book Session 1 on Tuesday, Session 2 must be on the Wednesday of the same week, and Session 3 must be on the Wednesday of the next week. What we want you to do:- Practice the pronunciation of foreign words- Let us record your voice during practice Compensation: $30 in total (paid on the day of the 3rd session) Location:- 2001 McGill College Avenue, 8th floor.
