 ★ SOCIAL JUSTICE OUTREACH COORDINATOR ★WORK STUDY PROJECT NUMBER: Q 30415-33You must be an QUEBEC student approved for work study.JOB DESCRIPTION: The social justice outreach coordinator will work alongside the staff of QPIRG Concordia. This position will concentrate on the promotion of QPIRG events and projects to the campus and the wider community. This position will also include updating and designing promotional materials and managing social media accounts. DUTIES: -Promote QPIRG events and activities (including working groups)-Postering for upcoming events-Classroom announcements-Flyering (such as at Cinema Politica, People's Potato, elsewhere)-Social media outreach (facebook, instagram)-Attend planning meetings for QPIRG initiatives and events-Designing posters and flyers for QPIRG events-Liaising with other campus organizations and groups about community-based social justice research-Encouraging other student and community members to volunteer at QPIRG, in coordination with QPIRG staff  DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: January 19th, 2020, 11:59pmELIGIBILITY DETAILS: Please note that these position are open to Concordia students (undergraduate or graduate) approved for work study positions.
