PRIMARY DUTIESThe Research Assistant will work directly with Dr Sylvie Lambert on a range of projects in the broad areas of psychometrics, intervention research, and caregiver research. Specific duties include (but not restricted to):

  • Recruit participants for studies
  • Undertake literature searches
  • Contribute to the development of research or intervention materials
  • Assist with the implementation of the research project in accordance with information privacy and confidentiality guidelines and data quality standards
  • Liaise with investigators and project staff
  • Assist in the preparation of papers
  • Pilot-test research materials
  • Undertake any other duties relevant and appropriate to this level

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Have a Master’s degree in Nursing, Psychology, Education or related field and with relevant research experience
  • Be Bilingual
  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Pay careful attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize among different research tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in managing research projects
  • Experience with qualitative research methods an asset.
