MinibiblioPLUS is a high energy non-profit outreach project which operates 106 program in 75 sites in and around Montreal. It is powered by the Fraser Hickson Library which has been serving Quebec since 1885. Our Mission is to raise literacy levels by empowering partners to instill in children a life-long love of reading and learning from birth and to enable free access to books and animation services.Due to our ever expanding request for services, including bringing our model to the national stage, we are seeking an individual who is passionate about early literacy development and is first and foremost a TEAM player! Must be bilingual, very organized with top leadership qualities and have working knowledge of databases, MS Office, Social Media etc.There is room for advancement.In conjunction with the Operations Manager responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and motivating staff to ensure efficient program(s) delivery;
  • Overseeing selection, ordering, processing and delivery of books to partners in a timely manner-working with Librarian and Volunteer/Deliveries Coordinator;
  • Generating reports as needed;
  • Assisting Communications technician with promotional and literacy tools in English and French;
  • Leading early literacy workshops for partners and parents;
  • Assisting in grant proposals;
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure smooth office operations;
  • Participating in community events;
  • Assisting CEO at board level
