Rent includes heat, electricity, and hot water.  The roommate is a female graduate student at McGill, so a female tenant is preferred. FURNISHED ROOM/LEASE TRANSFER PLATEAU/MILE END FOR DECEMBER 15TH. Hi friends! I'm looking for someone to take on a furnished room/lease transfer for December 15th. The lease renews itself every September 1st.  You'll be living with two other roommates, one is finishing her thesis and the other is an artist/professional. December 15th - 31st is $484.  This price is for half a month’s rent and includes a completely furnished room. The room is comprised of a double mattress, a metal bed frame, a desk, two lamps, a mirror and a side table. The bed was bought new within the past year and everything is clean. The furniture must be purchased with the rental of this room, unfurnished is not an option. Every month after December will be $467.50 per month + hydro & internet.  By taking on the lease you will also be in charge of organizing the hydro and internet bill.  The apartment is located in the Plateau / Mile End, and it’s a 10 minute walk to Laurier / Mont Royal Metro. It's only a block away from Jeanne-Mance Park and Mont Royal. Although we sometimes have people over, this isn’t a party house. I'm lookied to rent out my room in Verdun. It would be an assingnment of lease, starting from January 1 until July 1, with the option to renew if you choose.

The room is spacious and well lit, with a large closet. The apartment is beautiful, with a balconies at the front and back of the unit. The kitchen is big and fully equipped, with washer and dryer included. The unit is is great condition, and the landlord is quick to respond to any issues that arise. It's well situated, 4 minutes from Verdun metro, and close to all shops and amenities, cafes (there is a cat cafe just around the corner), park spaces, and the St Lawrence river. There are a number of cheap grocery stores in the area, and everything within walking distance. Ideal for students. Its also on the top floor.

The room is 410$/month, but internet and hydro are extra. Usually it is an extra 80$ (total).

The apartment is shared with another Concordia student, a fine arts major.

Pets are a possibility, but will need to be discussed with the landlord beforehand.
