Roommate Wanted for August 2019 (490$)


I am looking for a roommate from August 2019-August 2020. I live in a 5 1/2 just on the edge of Westmount and NDG. The apartment is in a great location as many shops and restaurants are around, such as Lululemon, Metro, Roots, Starbucks, Pizza N 900 and much more. The apartment is a 5 minute walk from Vendome Metro and is minutes away from the bus 24, 105, 102, 17 and 63. The aparment is a 20 minutes bus ride from Loyola Campus and a 20 minute metro to SGW. 1 bedroom in the apartment is available, as the third bedroom is currently being used a guest bedroom, but it can change purposes. I am a female student atttending Concordia University for Biochemistry. The apartment is always clean, as i clean it regularly. I usually spend my time studying, going out or having a couple friends over. The rent is 490$ a month, plus Hydro and internet. The company is Vous Loger.

Position SummaryCounselors are responsible for supervising groups of campers within the facility as well as animating a variety of activities for campers within different settings in Westmount’s community. The position entails an interest in the arts, as counselors will also assist art educators in providing artistic workshops of various artistic mediums.Conditions of Work

  • Part-time and full-time positions available
  • Number of hours: between 25 and 40 hours a week, depending on full-time or part-time status
  • Hours of work: Full-time counselor shifts are from 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday. Part-time counselor shifts are from 12 pm to 5 or 6 pm
  • Salary range is between $12.75-$13.50/hr depending on level of experience
  • Counselors must be available for the full 9 weeks of camp from June 25th to August 23rd 2019 (Counselor training is scheduled the week prior to camp & first aid training is paid and provided by the VAC)


  • Responsible for the supervision & scheduling of a group of 15 campers
  • Ensure physical safety of children and administer first aid care when necessary
  • Communicate important information regarding health needs of campers to staff and parents
  • Design and lead creative activities during early morning pick up and late pick up
  • Assist art educators in preparing art supplies and ensuring proper workshop clean up
  • Supervise campers within the Westmount swimming pool
  • Animate physical activities within Westmount’s parks
  • Mentor and motivate campers in their creative abilities
  • Attends and participates in weekly meetings


  • Candidates must be eighteen years of age
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience working with children
  • Bilingual (English/French) – spoken
  • Lifeguard training is an asset
  • Priority will be given to candidates with experience in the arts: visual, musical, theatrical, performative or other
  • References will be required for candidates selected for an interview
