The coach supervisor will be responsible for training and supervising a lay coach who will provide telephone coaching to mothers with symptoms of post-partum depression and /or anxiety who are enrolled in a randomized trial on maternal mental health. The coach supervisor will help the research team to finalize the intervention manual and will responsible for training and supervising the coach, in collaboration with the principal investigator.Hours: 115 hoursSpecific tasks:• Help to finalize the coaching manual, including scripts and agendas which will be used by the lay coach.• Attend coach supervision meetings with Principal Investigator• Monitor calls and provide feedback to coachEligibility Requirements:Canadian, Permanent Resident, Must be eligible to work in Canada

 Overview:The successful candidate will provide regular telephone support to postpartum mothers with symptoms of depression and /or anxiety who are enrolled in a randomized trial on maternal mental health. Participants will be using a website with access to reading materials and a list of community resources; the coach will assist the participants in using the website using a structured approach and script. Each participant will be followed for up to 6 months.Hours: 133 hours (Participant Calls +Training & Supervision)Key tasks and Role in the study:• Provide support to the participant in the following ways:- Guide the participant as she navigates the intervention website- Answer the participant’s questions about the modules- Refer the participant to appropriate community resources which will help her meet her goals- Encourage and motivate the participant throughout the intervention period, keep time limits• Monitor calls and maintain confidentialityAdministrative Tasks:• Maintain coach agenda and notebook• Maintain coach logs and participant contact sheets• Attend coach supervision meetings with coach trainer and Principal Investigator• Attend research meetings Desired Major(s)Science/Life/Psychology, Health SciencesDesired Degree LevelUndergraduate, Masters & Grad Dips & CertsEligibility RequirementsCanadian, Permanent Resident, Must be eligible to work in CanadaJob Start DateTwelve (12) month contract, part- time.
