Welcome to our Classifieds News Section! Our Classifieds website is moderated by HOJO staff, who filter through the ads and users to ensure that the website is safe and user-friendly for Concordia students. We also write news stories about trending housing and employment trends. 

What can the Off Campus Housing and Jobs Resource Centre do for you? 

We assist thousands of students, undergraduates and graduates alike, as well as alumni and the general Montreal community with:

We offer expert guidance through knowledgeable staff who can provide tailored legal information and support. HOJO assistants are expertly trained in navigating the CNESST application process, to apply the laws pertaining to housing according to the Civil Code of Quebec, and can offer step by step assistance for applying at the Tribunal Administratif du Logement (TAL).

Can’t speak French? Is this your first time working in Quebec? HOJO offers a wide range of job banks to expand your job search and land the perfect student job. At HOJO, you can receive insider tips from HOJO assistants well-versed in navigating the Montreal rental market to help you find an apartment within your budget that suits your needs. 

Get to Know your Rights! 

Learn to advocate for yourself with our multitude of documents about repossession, basic rights of a tenant and employee in Quebec, renoviction, etc. From lease transfers to rent control, it takes a proactive community effort to ensure that safe and affordable housing exists. To better educate the community, we often partner up with community organizations such as YES and AGIR to better connect with Montrealers and offer a multitude of workshops to allow you to make informed decisions and take appropriate action concerning any workplace or housing issues.
