Working as a ski instructor is a great way to improve your skiing, develop leadership and teaching skills, meet new people, and spend your weekends on the slopes. The role: Rod Roy Snow School is hiring ski instructors for the 2027 winter season. Teaching positions are available on Saturdays and/or Sundays for a six-week season running from early January to late February. Additional teaching opportunities may also be available throughout the winter. Who we are: Rod Roy Snow School is a Montreal-based ski and snowboard school that provides bus transportation for its members. We like variety! Our programs visit ski areas throughout the Laurentians and the Eastern Townships. Rod Roy Snow School has been a member of the Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance Hall of Fame since 2006. Requirements: • Minimum intermediate-advanced skiing ability • No previous teaching experience required • CSIA certification is an asset, but is not mandatory • Lessons are taught in English and/or French Candidates without previous ski-teaching experience must attend three mandatory on-snow training days over weekends in early December. We will teach you how to become a ski instructor using the best practices of the Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance. Compensation is based on experience and certification.
